The Story Behind Levi’s
Levi’s started out way back in 1853, when founder Levi Strauss migrated to America and set up a dry goods company in San Francisco.
At the peak of the California Gold Rush, Levi recognised that people needed ‘fits that would last AND look good. Working with tailor Jacob David, Levi created something that would change the game! Combining copper rivet reinforcements with tough denim, the world’s first blue jeans were born. ICONIC.
Since jeans first came into existence, the Levi’s brand has grown and evolved, still making waves today. Although their jeans are still at the top of their game, Levi’s have added a whole range of off-duty essentials to their collections. Expect tees, hoodies, sweatshirts and more!
