A CLASSIC COMEBACK: CONVERSE CHUCK 70

Celebrating the OG Chuck Taylor All Star from the ‘70s, Converse just dropped a re-crafted sneak; the Chuck 70.

More than just a sneaker, this comeback style is packed with Converse’s DNA and spirit. It takes signature details from the Chuck Taylor All Star and nods to the ‘70s icon, while adding modern details for a fresh take.

Check it out!

Get to Know the Chuck 70

Converse first launched the Chuck Taylor All Star back in the ‘70s. The OG style was retro’d back in 2013 and was dubbed Chuck 70 in a nod to the ‘70s icon. The revived sneaker has the same signature look as the All Star, with contrasting stitching on the upper and an All Star license plate to the heel. But there’s also a lot of differences…

Up top, they’re built with a premium, heavier-grade canvas upper for added durability and structure. The signature rubber toe cap has a varnished, off-white finish to give the sneaker a worn-out look, while tying in with the midsole. As well as the signature contrasting stitching throughout, the Chuck 70 comes with reinforced stitching to the forefoot, which adds an extra vintage edge.

Underfoot, these kicks have a lightweight midsole and a cushioned footbed with slightly higher rubber foxing than on the All Star. Finished with signature branding for that classic Converse look.
